MAINTENANCE MANAGER –Great opportunity in one of   America ’s Best Liked Cities.   Portland , OR web printer has an IMMEDIATE NEED for an experienced MANAGER to run the facility’s maintenance department.   Will supervise a staff of 18 technicians and janitors responsible for all equipment and facility maintenance.   The Maintenance Manager will work very closely with the Pressroom Manager in scheduling downtime and equipment installation. This person will be an integral part of the planning team and must understand the work flow for the entire plant. BINDERY MANAGERS & LEAD OPERATORS:

BINDERY MANAGER – Upper Midwest Commercial Printer.   We are looking for a Finishing Manager that can run a 3 shift department.   An experienced manager with a commercial printing background would be best.   Will oversee 3o people (non-union) running stitchers, cutter, folders, gluers, shrink-wrap and string machinery. Position reports to the plant manager and has a salary in the $70’s.

BINDERY MANAGER -   Southern publication and catalog printer.   This position requires a person with strong management skills. You will be taking over a 24/7 bindery that will be growing to over 400 employees in the next year.  This is a non union shop running saddle stitch and perfect binders.   We are looking for a problem solver with large bindery experience and the ability to move into a plant management position.   Salary into the $90’s + Bonus

BINDERY SUPERVISORS – If you have supervisory experience in a catalog or magazine bindery we would like to speak to you.   We are recruiting for several positions, primarily in the South and Southeast for shift supervisors to run shifts. Salary’s are in the $60’s and $70’s depending on location.

BINDERY OPERATORS – Looking to move SOUTH?   We have several web catalog   & magazine plants looking for STITCHER and PERFECT binder Operators. ALL shifts but mostly 2 nd & 3 rd .   Our clients are mostly running 12 hour shifts with 3 and 4 day weeks.   Hourly rates run from $18.25 to $22   per hour.

PRESS SUPERVISORS & LEAD OPERATORS:

PRESSROOM MANAGER – Southern Catalog plant.   Experienced manager need to run a large web pressroom.    Will supervise a staff of over 120 nonunion employees through 6 supervisors.   Must have a strong web background.   A prior background in catalog or publication printing will be a big plus.   We are looking for a hands-on manager with a good technical background.   An up-through-the–ranks manager is also acceptable.   They are running M-1000’s (B’s & BE’s) along with M-3000’s.    Salary in the high $90’s.

PRODUCTION MANAGER – Southeastern location.   Half-web and non-heatset web printer is looking for a manager who can oversee the prep, press and finishing areas.   You will supervise 35-40 running 24 hours a day.   Position reports to the Operations Manager and requires a manager that can deal with customers and sales.   The Production Manager is responsible for the production and quality of goods produced as well as hiring, training and scheduling.   This position will provide excellent training for someone looking to move on to a plant manager’s position.   Salary in the $70’s

PREPRSS MANAGERS & OPERATORS:

PREPRESS TECHNICIAN – Philadelphia Area packaging company.   Will be responsible for producing color keys and color separations, revisions and alterations   to existing or supplied artwork.   Familiarity to flexo and gravure printing is a big plus but not a requirement. Extensive knowledge of Macintosh platforms and appropriate soft ware (Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXpress & Macintosh Office Suite) is required.   Will do trapping and color correction along with significant contact with the customers, sales quality and customer service.    Salary in the $60’s

COLOR MANAGER – Central Pennsylvania Book Printer.   Our client is a multi-plant printer with plants throughout the U. S.   They are looking for a Color Manager for their 300 employee Pennsylvania plant.   Ideal location with great cost of living and plenty to do.   We need someone with a strong prep and color background.   You will be establishing plant color standards, monitoring the success of the program and coordinating with the other plants.   This position is on the same level as the Prep and Pressroom Managers and reports to the Operations Manager.
